Optimization of Air Cooling System Using Adjoint Solver Technique

Air cooling systems are currently the most popular and least expensive solutions to maintain a safe temperature in electronic devices. Heat sinks have been widely used this area, allowing for an increase effective heat transfer surface area. The main objective of study was optimise shape sink geometric model using Adjoint Solver technique. optimised context minimal value behind is proposed. effect radiation trapezoidal fin on maximum system also investigated. Simulation studies were performed Ansys Fluent software Reynolds—averaged Navier–Stokes As result simulation, it turned out that not taking into account leads overestimation temperatures system—even by 14 ?C. It found as angle height fins increases, decreases source increases. best design from all analysed cases obtained with deformed according iteration 14. reduction much 25 ?C, minor changes temperature, has achieved.
